Early Preview Notice

CoachRanker is currently in early preview. Some account, payment, profile management, and coach tool features are still being prepared and may not be available yet.

Information CoachRanker Collects

Verification Contact Privacy

Phone numbers and emails submitted for coach verification are private. They should never appear publicly unless the coach upgrades to Launch Basic, Basic, or Pro and chooses to display public contact information through Contact Settings.

Publicly Available Information Used During Claim Review

CoachRanker may use publicly available information, including public sex offender registry information, as part of our internal claim review, safety review, fraud prevention, identity review, and platform-integrity processes. We use this information to help evaluate whether a claimed coach profile should be approved, rejected, limited, removed, or further reviewed.

CoachRanker does not publicly display registry search details or unnecessary sensitive review notes on public coach profiles.

Reviews

Reviews are not anonymous. CoachRanker collects reviewer first name, last initial, reviewer email, reviewer type, ratings, review title, and review text.

If approved after moderation, public reviews may display first name and last initial, reviewer type, ratings, review title, and review text. Reviewer email is used for verification, moderation, or contact if needed and is not displayed publicly.

Public Coach Profiles

Free Listings show basic public facts only. Free Claimed Profiles show identity verification status only. Launch Basic, Basic, and Pro coaches may control additional public profile and contact settings.

Coaches may share general session format, setting, experience, and background details. CoachRanker does not verify every coach-provided claim and may limit or remove profile content that violates CoachRanker policies.

Public Profile Photos

Eligible coaches may upload one public profile photo. Coaches are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and display any photo they provide.

CoachRanker may store and display a public profile photo on coach profiles, search-related surfaces, dashboard previews, and other public CoachRanker surfaces until it is replaced, removed, or limited under CoachRanker policies.

Youth and Minor Information

CoachRanker may include youth sports, music, and fitness contexts. Parents or guardians should provide information for minors when appropriate and should avoid posting private information about children in reviews, claim requests, contact messages, or public profile content.

CoachRanker may remove or limit public content that includes private child information or content about a child that should not be public.

Profile View Analytics

CoachRanker may collect lightweight anonymous profile view analytics so coaches and admins can see approximate profile interest.

CoachRanker may store a random anonymous visitor ID in localStorage. When a public coach profile is viewed, that ID is sent to a server-side analytics endpoint and hashed before storage. Stored analytics may include the coach profile viewed, date or daily bucket, total views, unique visitor count, and last-30-day view count.

Contact Relay Messages

When a visitor sends a coach inquiry through CoachRanker, CoachRanker collects the sender name, reply contact, message, coach ID or name, delivery status, and related delivery details.

CoachRanker may send the message and sender reply contact to the coach or the coach’s approved contact email so the coach can respond directly. Contact relay messages are not displayed publicly. CoachRanker may store these messages for moderation, abuse prevention, support, and delivery records.

Location Search and Google Places

CoachRanker may use Google Places to suggest city, ZIP, or postal-code locations in search, profile editing, and public forms. Location suggestions help standardize city and state information for search and public display.

CoachRanker does not require visitors to share precise GPS location to browse the public directory.

Anti-Spam Checks

CoachRanker may use reCAPTCHA or similar anti-spam checks on public write and send forms, including coach inquiries, coach submissions, review submissions, claim requests, and general contact messages.

These checks are used to reduce spam and abuse before a public submission is accepted. CoachRanker does not add browser fingerprinting as part of this feature and does not store IP addresses in CoachRanker profile view analytics.

CoachRanker may also rate-limit public write and send actions using a hashed anonymous visitor ID or hashed contact/email-derived limiter key. Rate limit records may include the action, time window, count, and a safe target such as a coach ID. CoachRanker does not store raw IP addresses for these rate limits and does not use browser fingerprinting.

Security and Audit Logs

CoachRanker may keep admin-only audit records for important security, moderation, and account events such as claim decisions, review moderation, contact relay delivery, plan changes, coach profile updates, coach responses, and review reports.

Audit records may include an event type, signed-in admin or coach user ID/email when applicable, target record ID, timestamp, and safe metadata. CoachRanker does not store API keys, private keys, or full secret values in audit logs.

Payments

CoachRanker is designed around simple monthly memberships. It does not take fees, commissions, or a percentage of coaching income.

Coaches may list payment methods they accept. CoachRanker does not process, collect, hold, verify, or guarantee payments between coaches and clients.

Self-service billing and Stripe checkout are not currently live. If paid memberships become available, payment information should be handled separately from public coach profile content.

Account and Profile Tools

Account and profile tools may support coach identity claims, profile management, review tools, public contact preferences, and paid plan access. Private verification contact should remain separate from public profile contact settings.

Service Providers

CoachRanker may use Firebase and Google services for authentication, database hosting, server-side operations, app security, and related site operations.

CoachRanker may use Resend or another email delivery provider for transactional messages such as claim approvals, coach inquiries, and account-related notices. CoachRanker may also use Google reCAPTCHA or another anti-spam provider to help verify public form submissions.

Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Users may contact CoachRanker to request access, correction, deletion, limitation, or removal of personal data or public profile information. CoachRanker may need to retain limited records when necessary for moderation, security, claim review, review integrity, abuse prevention, legal, or operational reasons.

Retention of Safety and Moderation Records

CoachRanker may retain moderation, security, claim, review, contact-relay, rate-limit, audit, and abuse-prevention records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, review disputes, document decisions, or comply with legal and operational needs.

Copyright or Image-Rights Concerns

For copyright, image-rights, or profile-photo concerns, contact CoachRanker with the public URL, a description of the content, and enough information for CoachRanker to review the request.
